PhD Founder and President Institute for Performance Excellence. Dr. R. Clinton Miner has enjoyed two successful careers. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the active duty Army for over 20 years. Commissioned in 1973 as an Infantry Officer, with Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, and Jungle Warfare qualifications, he served in successive leadership and command positions in Infantry and Aviation units. Dr. Miner’s military career also included leadership positions within the Army Education System helping guide the education and training of future Army officers. Clint’s passion for promoting personal and professional growth through education led him to his second career in adult education. He has been a leader in the development and delivery of innovative adult-learning degree and non-degree programs in the US and around the globe. His focus is on finding approaches to making education more affordable, accessible, and relevant to adult learners who want to position themselves for success in an ever increasing competitive work place. Clint has extensive personal and professional global experiences. He has delivered programs in over 80 countries and personally visited over 45 countries. He recently stepped down from his position of President and CEO of the National Graduate School, a non-profit, accredited college, and founded The Institute for Performance Excellence (www.i4pe.org) which provides innovative programs and mentoring to help organizations and leaders realize performance excellence. Clint is married to Yuliia (Budnyk). His passions, in addition to his work in education, include, biking, traveling, golfing, and skiing.
